Studio on Hamley in CBD

Flooded and Unsanitary - No Response From Host Positive: I am currently waiting for a formal resolution after the toilet cistern flooded the entire apartment with dirty, stinking water only hours after I had arrived on my first night, rendering the accommodation unsanitary and uninhabitable. The flooding soaked/damaged most of my belongings, and I have become quite ill since having contact with it. I reported the incident immediately, sent supporting pictures and videos, and Booking.com has initiated a formal complaint against the property, however it has been nearly two weeks and the property is refusing to respond to requests for information or remediation. At this point, due to the hosts non-compliance with Booking.com's investigation and Australian Consumer Law, I absolutely would not recommend this property to anyone. The apartment remained contaminated with toilet water across all floors, furniture, and towels, and the host has taken no steps to address the health and safety risks or compensate for losses incurred. This review will be updated when and if the host fulfills their obligations with the formal complaint process. Negative: On top of the unsanitary conditions, the area also felt quite unsafe. Directly outside the apartment a woman threatened to stab me. There is only a topless garage door separating the storage unit from the street, and upon arriving I had to call the property manager because the garage door wasn't working

Negative: I don’t think it was worth spending the money. When we arrived, the place was dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned after the previous checkout. Our check-in time was 3 pm, we reached at 4 pm, and informed the owner about the condition. The cleaner arrived an hour later, and we only got the cleaned room around 6 pm. The place also felt a bit congested, and the water tap was extremely noisy when in use. Considering the overall facilities and management, I found the place quite expensive for what it offered. By spending a little more, you could probably get much better facilities elsewhere.

3 nights stay in Hamley Studio was Superb,definitely will come back 😍 Positive: Smooth check in, good location near the market. Room was so clean and pillow and bed are comfortable. Bathroom and toilet so clean with full of amenities. It has mini kitchen with utensils for simple cooking, the mini fridge & microwave just so perfect. Tv have Netflix YouTube and many more we love it. Also the accomodation have their own car port with the remote to open and close the garage. love it so much Negative: Please provide the bath mat ☺️ And vacuum cleaner Because it's direct from outside so the floor always dirty since the room has no room service to clean everyday. I hope it has laundry machine and dryer too but that's fine because we went to the nearest laundromat it cost $20 to wash & dry. 🤭
